EXTREME VACATION OF THE WEEK
OK couch potatoes, get up and start stretching,
this week’s vacation is going to require some effort. We’re going to suit up
in our best lycra, mount our bikes at the edge of the Pacific Ocean, pedal
across the Golden Gate Bridge, and keep pedaling the following 80 miles to
Sacramento. Up to it? If not, you’re going to have a hard time the following
51 days as we keep pedaling 80 miles a day until we get to Portsmouth, New
Hampshire. For the geographically challenged among us, that’s on the opposite,
Atlantic Coast, 3,800 miles from our starting point. It’s not as bad as it
sounds, there are five built in rest days.
