Daytona Restaurants
We work to select the best restaurants in an area. We give preference to independents, since you're likely to already be familiar with the franchises. In Daytona though, we encountered only a few good places, and ended up listing some chain restaurants in order to round out our listings. Waits can be significant, so it would be worthwhile to make reservations at restaurants that accept them.
Anna's Italian Trattoria- 304 Seabreeze Blvd. (at Peninsula Dr.)904-239-9624. Many home made pastas, main courses served with soup or salad and a side dish of angel-hair pasta or vegetable. $9-16
The Cellar- 220 Magnolia Ave. (between Palmetto and Ridgewood Ave.) 904-258-0011 American cuisine, small varied menu including chicken, pastas, and fresh seafoods. $10-16
Sophie Kay's Waterfall Restaurant- 3516 S. Atlantic Ave. (at Raymond Ave.) 904-756-4444. Varied menu with steak, pastas and seafood, childrens menu. $6-24.
Aunt Catfish's- Located on the Port Orange causeway serves Catfish dishes and local seafod to Certified Angus Prime Rib, steaks, Maine lobster tails, Alaskan Crab legs. Open for lunch and dinner Mon-Sat. Calling ahead for seating recommended. Entress from $8.99. 904-767-4768.
