Ponce Inlet Lighthouse Museum - At 175 feet, this is the second tallest lighthouse in the US. Housed on the grounds is one of Florida's largest maritime museums, which includes historical displays, a history video of the lighthouse, and Fresnel Lens Exhibit. Visitor can also make the climb to the top for a panoramic view of the Daytona Beach area. Open daily 10-5pm, 10-8pm summer hours. South Peninsula Drive, Ponce Inlet.

Halifax Historical Museum - Features Indian and Spanish artifacts found at nearby plantations, automobile racing memorabilia from the early years, and a newspaper file dating back to 1883. Open Tuesday-Saturday 10-4pm.
