Coral Castle - A 1,100 ton coral monument built by one man, Ed Leedskalnin. Featured in many magazines and TV shows because no one can figure how he erected the huge blocks of coral. This roadside attraction may be best seen on TV, rather than real life. Open 9-6, admission charged.

Coral Gables Merrick House - Boyhood home George Merrick, founding father of Coral Gables. Taken over by the city in the Mid 70's and restored the house to its 20's appearance.

Gold Coast Railroad Museum - Collection of railroad cars and memorabilia, houses the presidential Pullman car used by Presidents Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Reagan and Bush. Weekend train rides on diesel or steam locomotives. Open daily 11-3pm. Adults $5, Children $3.

Art Deco Historic District - A must see with, more than 800 buildings in the area basically a 15 block, 1 square mile area. Guided tours are offered by the Miami Design Preservation League. A 90 Minute tour ($6) departs from the Art Deco Welcome Center on Sat.@10:30 AM, and Thur.@6:30 PM.

Weeks Air Museum - Founded by aviation legend Kermit Weeks, this museum has a very good collection of warbirds including an, A-26, Grumman J2F-6 Duck, AT-11, P-40, TBM, Wildcat, Hellcat, and an interesting cutaway of a B-29 cockpit.
