Philadelphia has enough things to do to keep any traveler busy. Activities include seeing the city by boat, trolley, or horse drawn carriage; going to see a professional sports game, or perhaps watching a boat race or spending a day at the track. Whatever the choice, no visitor to Philadelphia should be bored.

76 Carriage Co. - Tours begin at 5th and Chestnut Sts, in front of Independence Hall from 10am to 5pm, even later in the summer. The famous Philadelphia carriage tours offer a colorful dialect and a feel for the transportation of colonial Philadelphia. The fares range depending on where you want to go.

American Trolley Tours - Departs from the Liberty Bell 5th and market. Tours cost $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $6 for children. Cruise around historic Philadelphia in a roomy, comfortable environment. Tours include runs through historic Philadelphia, taking stops to check out the Liberty Bell and the Betsy Ross house, as well as Franklin's Court and other museums.

Sesame Place - A theme park based entirely on Sesame St., a great place to take the kids. Everything from small roller coasters to wacky water slides. Many places to sit and eat a picnic lunch. Located just outside of Philadelphia in Bucks County.

Centipede Tours Inc. - Organized walking tours of Society Hill, and Old City led by guides in colonial costume. A great idea for couples looking for a nice candle light stroll. Open from May through October. Cost is $5 for adults and $4 for children. The average length of a tour is 90 minutes. 1315 Walnut St.

Corestates Spectrum - Along with its twin, center houses the games of the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Philadelphia 76ers. Also one of the best locations for rock concerts in the area. Event schedules for these two places can be found by calling the Veterans Stadium Complex.

Keystone Track - Holds races every day except the first two weeks of January. The admission is $3. The park is located on Street Rd. half a mile from exit 28 on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
