The oceanfront is the focus of activity in Daytona. In addition to the normal beach activities, driving is permitted on the beach. The result is an 18 mile parking lot and cruising strip. The epicenter is around the boardwalk and the Main Street Pier. Off the beach the following activities are available. More attractions can be found in the Things to See section.

Tomoka State Park - A 1,540 acre park with camping, fishing, nature trails, picnic areas, boat launch, canoe access and rentals to the Tomoka River. The Dana Marsh Museum and Visitor Centers is also located on the grounds. Park hours are 8am to dusk.

Trolley Boat - A 14,000-pound amphibious vehicle navigates land and sea on a one hour guided narrated tour of the Daytona Beach area.
