eGO has reviewed all of the hotels listed below and found them to meet our standards. We've included a range from high end to budget, and tried to select the leaders in each category. Lodging in South Beach is spotty. Price doesn't insure quality. Be wary of establishments not listed below.
The hotels in this area were originally built in the late 1930's. Although the majority have undergone extensive renovations, the rooms are still small, the bathrooms tiny, and there may be limited amenities and services. Parking in this area is hard to get, and is done mostly by hotel valet parking at $15. Despite the drawbacks, South Beach is considered the place to be, with the city's best restaurants, nightclubs, and beach.
