      Chicago has shopping opportunities galore. Some of the finest shops are located along North Michigan Avenue, called the Magnificent Mile. There are several trendy neighborhoods in this area that stock merchandise that is one-of-a-kind. Most of Chicago's stores and boutiques are open from 10am until 6 or 7pm, Monday through Saturday, Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

      Bally of Switzerland- 919 N. Michigan Ave. 312-787-8110 for high qualityy leather goods.

      Paul Stuart Clothiers- for fine men's clothing. In the first floor of the John Hancock Center, 875 N. Michigan Ave., one of the world's tallest buildings.

      Water Tower Place- 835 N. Michigan Ave., is a vertical mall housing some of the most incredibly unique stores in the country.

      Gianni Versace- 101 E. Oak St. 312-337-1111 is a designer boutique.

      Giorgio Armani- 113 E. Oak St. 312-751-2244.

      Wolford- 54 E. Oak St. 312-642-8787. Another, fine designer store.
