Assateague Island - A barrier island that consists of three major public areas including Assateague Island National Seashore, Chincoteague National Wildlife refuge, and Assateague State Park. Many activities are available including surf fishing, canoeing & boating, Hiking, biking, shell collecting, clamming and crabbing, birding, camping, and life guarded beaches.

Ocean City Life Saving Station Museum - The museum itself served both the U.S. Life-Saving Service and the Coast Guard and is the oldest structure in town. A history of the town is presented from the beginnings in the late 1800's to present.
