| Hatteras-Ocracoke Ferry |
Hatteras and Frisco are the two villages on the southern end of Hatteras Island. Neither gets the number of vacationers of beachside communities to the north, but Hatteras is a major center of commercial and sport fishing. It is also terminus for the ferry to Ocracoke and soon to be home of the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum.
Frisco has the American Indian Museum and Billy Mitchell Airfield, a facility for general aviation aircraft.
