Pinehurst is in eastern North Carolina roughly between Fayetteville, Raleigh, and Greensboro. It is not on an Interstate, but can be accessed from I 85 and I 95. U.S. 1, 15-501, and N.C. 2, 5, and 211 provide direct access. Moore County Airport has commuter routes from Charlotte. There is also an Amtrak station.
