Sheraton Society Hill- 1 Dock St. Also considered one of Philadelphia's more luxurious accommodations. Holiday Inn-Independence Mall- 400 Arch Street. This hotel is absolutely the closest that you will sleep to the Liberty Bell. It offers a rooftop outdoor pool, individual room climate control, and silence as its plot is set a ways back from the main road. $$$
Bellevue Hotel- Broad and Walnut Sts. Your best bet for a taste of history. The light fixtures are all original designs of Thomas Edison's. First opened in 1904, The Bellevue is said to be "the most opulent" of all Philadelphia Hotels. The top floor is the only floor where rooms are still rented. The middle and lower floors offer a variety of restaurants, and shopping. $$$$
Four Seasons Hotel- One Logan Square. Rated one of the two best hotels in Philadelphia, the luxury of this place swallows you as soon as you enter its beautiful floral courtyard. This hotel belongs to the exclusive chain that also includes New York's Pierre, and London's Inn on the park. The rare white mahogany beds accent this designer's great taste for luxury. If you get hungry swing by the luxurious Fountain Restaurant on the ground level. $$$$
