The 1700s-a time of history, independence and glorious homes. Come to the Richard
Johnston Inn in Old Towne Fredericksburg for a unique, upscale 17th century
inn.
The Inn was constructed in the late 1700s as the home of Richard Johnston, son
of the mayor of Fredericksburg. The Richard Johnston Inn still reflects the
charm and grace of a past era, while providing all the amenities of today for
the comfort of our guests.
The seven rooms and two suites, all with private baths,
have been decorated with antiques, luxurious linens and oriental rugs.
The Richard Johnston Inn along with Old Towne Fredericksburg makes an ideal get away for a vacation, weekend retreat, business trip or conference. We are located just two blocks from the Amtrak Station, and only an hour by train from Washington, D. C.
There are many activities for you to enjoy including carriage and trolley tours, a cruise on the Rappahannock River or a walking/driving tour of historic Fredericksburg.
