Beaches - Hit the beach (weather permitting). Alki beach is Seattle's most popular beach. Across Elliot bay from downtown Seattle, this 2.5 mile beach is paralleled by shops and restaurants, popular with cyclists and skaters, you will know you are in the Northwest when you get an eyeful of the Olympic Mountains on the other side of Puget Sound. Other fine, fun beaches include; in the downtown area of Seattle, Discovery Park Seward Park and Mount Baker Beach along Lake Washington just southeast of Seattle. Hyak, Alpental, Snoqualmie, and Ski Acres - located at Snoqualmie Pass, east of Seattle off I-90. Together you have more than 65 ski runs. Adult lift tickets are $15-$18 for weekday and $28 during the weekend. These are all downhill runs. Instructions and equipment rentals are available.

Tillicum Village Tours - Pier 56 - Tillicum Village Tours will take you on a scenic boat ride to and from Tillicum Village at Blake Island State Marine Park across the Puget Sound, which is only accessible by boat. The village was built in combination with the 1962 Seattle world's fair. Fashioned after a Northwest Coast Indian longhouse, the "village" is really a performance hall and restaurant.
